Mangalam Seeds Limited is an ISO 9001-certified agricultural seed company founded in 2011 and headquartered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. We breed, produce and supply high-quality seed across grain, oil, fibre, pulse, spice, fodder and vegetable crops, with a specialisation in forage hybrids.

Our founder
Shri M.J. Patel (B.R.S) grew up in a farming family and spent 35 years in the production, sale and marketing of agricultural seeds and chemicals before starting Mangalam. His conviction was simple: a better seed is the fastest, cheapest, kindest way to lift a farmer's income.
Our scientist
Dr. I.D. Patel, M.Sc (Agri), Ph.D. in plant breeding and genetics, is our technical advisor. Across 42 years of research, he has developed 46 improved and hybrid varieties, published 41 papers in national and international journals, and received six awards including the Sardar Patel Award for his contribution to agriculture.
